PPIA Newcastle

PPIA (Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia-Australia or Indonesian-Australian Student Society) is an Indonesian student organization of Newcastle University, Australia. The members are mostly Indonesian Student and community, but anybody including Australian who wants to make friends and know Indonesian culture are welcomed to join.

Our club promotes Indonesian socio-cultural heritage, and promotes friendship through many activities. Most activities are social functions such as welcoming for new student and farewell for just graduated student, BBQ, and Indonesian Independence celebration.

PPIA-NC is actively involved in many activities run by University such as Cultural Awakening, and United Games. We also hold many social functions such as gathering for new student, BBQ, seminars, sport-for-fun and Indonesian Independence celebration.
